About the store
I've been a teacher at a Title I school for 4 years now, going on 5. Nearly all of my students come from Spanish-speaking households and are considered ELLs. I work hard to implement SIOP strategies and supplemental materials that can help ELLs of all levels access grade-level content. Much of what I create for my students is language-focused scaffolding, but also can serve as accommodations for students who have learning disabilities, or scaffolds for those who are in Tier 2 and 3 MTSS interventions. Every student deserves the tools they need to thrive academically, and that's what my store is here to provide!

Student Data Tracker for NWEA Goals and Scores

To help ease the stress of testing season, put students in charge of their data! Each card has a space for their name, their goals for both Math and ELA, their new scores, and a checkbox to show whether they made their goal. This way, you no longer have to be asked one million times, "Miss, did I make my goal?" (as if any of us could memorize that many numbers!) Now they can keep track of their own data! Suggestion: this Google Slide is made with the intention of having each student's data slip

Experience

I've been a teacher at a Title I school for 4 years now, going on 5. Nearly all of my students come from Spanish-speaking households and are considered ELLs. Teaching style

My classroom is an inclusive-model classroom for students who receive Special Educations services. Additionally, the vast majority of my students are ELLs who score at varying levels on the WIDA test, with some being brand new to the US, and some who are conversationally fluent, but need to further develop their academic English skills. Because of this, our school model is that of language immersion learning, with the help of SIOP strategies to help the kids advance as much as possible.

My own education history

I graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 2020 with a major in History and a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. I officially achieved my teaching certificate with Michigan Teachers of Tomorrow in October 2024.
