Under Construction is a fun way for students to grasp the concept visually of Mixed Numbers and their corresponding Improper fraction equivalent. In this premade sheet, students will write a Mixed Number or Improper Fraction and draw the model. The example uses fraction strips, but fraction circles and markers can be used for further understanding.

This visual will help your students associate perimeter with fences. As fences go around property, so does perimeter! Great visual aide to hang in the classroom and/ or have the students reproduce in their math journals. File is in high resolution. Print it in color and blow it up for poster size!
