I created and used this document to help get my head around the new curriculum. It helped me to learn the new content and see where it marries up with the old document. Having the two sets of content side by side allowed me to see which statements in the new syllabus matched the old and see where there may be gaps.

35 simple math activities for Prep to Year One. Counting by 1's, 2's, using ordinal numbers and dot cards as well as matching activities with dot, word, ordinal and tally cards. BLM for activities included; number cards 1-30, word cards 10-30, tally cards 1-10, dot cards and ordinal cards.

MATH GAME - ADDITION 2 Dice Add (6 sided dice) 3 Dice Add (6 sided dice) 3 Dice Add (9 sided dice) This game develops addition skills in children from approximately Kindergarten/Prep to Year 2-3. Included are 3 variations to the game. I often print the sheets double sided so students who finish early can quickly turn over their sheet and play again whilst they wait for their peers to finish.
