About the store
In 2011 I graduated from East Carolina University, receiving my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. I began teaching mathematics immediately after I graduated college. I taught at a private special education school at the high school level then moved on to teaching public school at the middle school level. I am now a Middle School Math Coach in my district working with teachers and students to provide the best learning experience in the mathematics classroom. I have experience teaching SPED, ELL, Gifted, and General Education. I also have extensive experience tutoring and teaching at a mathematics after-school learning center for children of all ages and backgrounds. I have obtained my Master's degree in Mathematics Educational Leadership from George Mason University and am certified in the state of Virginia in Secondary Mathematics, Math Specialist (K-8), Special Education, ESOL, and Gifted Education.

This file has three pages for finding lines of symmetry for regular and irregular polygons using patty paper. There are two sets of polygons, one regular and one irregular, and then a recording sheet where students discover the number of lines of symmetry for regular polygons equals the number of sides.
