About the store

Experience

I’ve had the joy of teaching and designing curriculum across multiple grade levels, from early elementary through middle school. My background includes leading teams of teachers, developing intervention programs that close learning gaps, and supporting schools through curriculum adoptions. Alongside classroom teaching, I work as a Curriculum Specialist where I collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to make learning meaningful, accessible, and engaging.

Teaching style

My teaching style blends structure with creativity. I believe learning should feel both challenging and joyful, so I use routines, hands-on experiences, and intentional scaffolds to help students grow in confidence. I value small group learning, real-world application, and opportunities for students to see connections between what they’re learning and their everyday lives.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my favorite moments have been seeing students’ confidence bloom, like when struggling readers discovered a love of books, or when math finally “clicked” for a group after weeks of practice. I’ve presented curriculum outcomes to school boards, celebrated student growth through data-driven instruction, and been trusted to mentor and coach other teachers. Each of these milestones reminds me that the most meaningful “awards” are found in student success stories.

My own education history

I earned my Master’s in Teaching from Biola University and have continued my professional learning ever since. I’ve trained in curriculum design, assessment and intervention, digital platform integration, and teacher leadership. My education has given me both the foundation and the tools to support students and teachers with excellence.
