Let students enjoy a weeklong journey to honing the skills of making predictions and inferences with this original humorous moral story, Tale of Monte's Will. This presentation contains five lessons that allow for the continuation of the story each day with inferential and critical questions sets that allow for lots of practice making predictions and inferences.
Counting Down the Days to Christmas is a humorous original poem written by Reneice Mowatt (yours truly) which was inspired by The Twelve Days of Christmas. Students will have fun listening to the words of the poem as read by the teacher, then they will draw those things on the attached Christmas tree. The student with the best portrait will be rewarded and his/her drawing highlighted. Portraits may be posted on the Christmas bulletin board.
