• Align all planning and instruction to the Danielson Framework for Teaching, utilizing current assessment data
• Design instruction to advance students through the content in a appropriate format, and provide structures and supports to enable all students access to the content
• Differentiate instruction, using assessment data, to determine student groups that maximize student engagement and understanding
• Use a variety of questions and prompts to challenge students cognitively, and help support student-to-student discussions
• Consistently assess student learning through frequent, on-going formative and summative assessments
• Build and maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment for all students
• Set clear expectations for students, and sustain a positive culture, utilizing a rewards system
