I have 9 years teaching experience across all class levels.
I currently work in a mainstream school but have previous experience in working with children in special educational needs. I spent 2 year working in an EAL setting.
Teaching style
I'm a keen advocate of active learning. I teach with the following quote in the forefront of my mind "The key to a successful learning environment is structure".
I believe a structured and organised teacher is a more effective one. That is why the aim of my TPT store to to help myself and fellow teachers create structured and organised lessons.
My own education history
I have a Bachelor in Education Honors Degree from Marino Institute Education, Dublin, Ireland.
I have also complete the Lámh sign language course.
I teach through both English and Irish.
