About the store
I am an Autism Specialist with experience teaching center-based classrooms. I have worked in both general education and specialized settings, supporting students with autism and intellectual disabilities. My knowledge includes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), differentiated instruction, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). In my current role, I collaborate with school special education teams to train educators on best practices for autism, facilitate Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and provide instructional and behavioral training at the district, school, and classroom levels.

About the store

Experience

I am an Autism Specialist with experience teaching center-based classrooms. I have worked in both general education and specialized settings, supporting students with autism and intellectual disabilities. My knowledge includes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), differentiated instruction, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). In my current role, I collaborate with school special education teams to train educators on best practices for autism, facilitate Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and provide instructional and behavioral training at the district, school, and classroom levels.

Teaching style

I have spent more than ten years working with students with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum. I have taught in special education classrooms with multiple grade levels, created and used individualized instruction that meets state standards, and trained paraprofessionals in effective strategies for helping students succeed. My teaching style is neuroaffirming and student-centered, making sure every child gets the support they need to do well.
