Students will use their knowledge of physical properties while using a dichotomous key to identify the flavors of jelly beans. Students learn about dichotomous keys and how to use them as a tool to identify unknown matter using physical properties. This activity is a great introduction to dichotomous keys and works well with "Using a Dichotomous Key to Identify Jelly Beans!" activity.
