This activity is to identify nonfiction text features. You assign a book to a child (I did this in pairs) and they need to answer if the book has that feature and answer questions about it so they get an idea of why they are used for. In this board game, students round 2 and 3 digit numbers to the nearest ten and hundred. Students place their chips in the start place and roll the dice. Before moving their chips, they must answer 1 of the task cards correctly. If not, the chips stays in the same place and it's the another's student turn. It can be used as a center, pairwork or groupwork.

I used this activity with my kids and they just loved it. The first page is the answer sheet. The other four pages are the word cards. You need to print them in colored paper and laminate them. This is a game I used for one of my centers. Children roll the dice and write the number they got in the row column. Then they roll it again to find how many per row. They make the number model and find the answer. My kids used counters and dice in a dice, they liked it! They need to add at the end, so the one with the highest number wins.
