High School Special Education Teacher August 2025-Present 7/8th Grade Resource Specialist Teacher December 2021-May2025 -Experience in behavioral support within the general education classroom -A clear understanding of and experience in utilizing MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) protocols -Manage a caseload of 28 students. and develop IEP’s and provide quarterly IEP progress reports to monitor progress towards meeting annual goals -Collaborate with general education teachers and other service providers to provide and support differentiated instruction and classroom accommodations/modifications -Formulate and implement rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining a well-disciplined and positive social/emotional learning environment -Maintain regular communication with students, parents and colleagues regarding student academic progress and behavioral matters -Ensure the timely and efficient adherence to all Individualized Education Program (IEP) deadlines.

My educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student possesses unique qualities that shape their learning experience. It is essential to cultivate an environment that fosters growth academically, socially, and emotionally. My aim is to establish a setting where students can thrive in all these dimensions. As an educator, I recognize my responsibility to foster success among my students. I am committed to creating an environment that promotes growth in all facets of their development. It is essential for my classroom to be a safe space where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas and are encouraged to challenge themselves. I will strive to remain informed about the latest teaching strategies to enhance the learning experience for my students. I encourage open communication, assuring my students that they can approach me with any concerns without hesitation or embarrassment; together, we can resolve any issues that arise. I believe that maintaining a positive attitude is vital in the educational environment, and I want my students to understand that they possess the capabilities necessary for success.
