I made these vowel posters to hang up in my classroom to help my students remember the short vowel sounds. It helps them to associate the shape of an "a" with the shape of an apple and the shape of an "e" with the shape of an egg. They are useful as a phonics tool for reading and spelling. The file contains five color 8.5x11 posters: apple, egg, igloo, octopus, and umbrella.
