This is a companion worksheet for the book Everybody Needs A Rock by Byrd Baylor. I suggest reading the book to students then having them find their own rock that they then reflect on using the worksheet. Suggestion: I find having the colors of the world crayons or colored pencils available helps students accurately draw their rocks since there are so may beautiful browns in those sets.
