About the store

Experience

I have over 15 years experience working with autistic students and students with intellectual disabilities in specialized schools and classrooms. I'm in my 7th year teaching a self-contained classroom for students benefiting from structured teaching strategies. I am trained in structured teaching techniques and specialize in making grade-level content accessible for non-speaking students.

Teaching style

I am a structured teacher whose mission is to make content and school accessible to every learner in my classroom. I provide meaningful tools to my students creating access routines, environments, and lessons. I also transform my teaching practices, tools, and lessons based on the students in front of me AND by listening to the words of autistic individuals.
