I have over 15 years experience working with autistic students and students with intellectual disabilities in specialized schools and classrooms. I'm in my 7th year teaching a self-contained classroom for students benefiting from structured teaching strategies. I'm also a retired semi-professional dancer and dance teacher with a passion for teaching autistic learners. I'm Mom to a young daughter with spunk, creativity, and sensory processing differences. I'm an urban gardener with an ever-growing vegetable garden.
