This is a wonderful conflict resolution tool for children of all ages, and even adults! I use Piggie and Gerald in my classroom as our "mascots", and model for my students how to use "I Statements" when trying resolve conflicts with one another. I model this several times during the first few weeks of school, and then hang the posters up in the "Talk it Out" corner of the classroom. When a situation arises, I tell the students to go to the Talk it Out Corner and use I Statements with one anot
