About the store

Experience

I am a homeschool educator with over 10 years of experience, a degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Development, and the Co-Director/Owner of Freedom Ministries, a network of Christian homeschool educational centers and co-ops. I create developmentally appropriate, classroom-tested resources designed to engage students and support meaningful learning.

Teaching style

My teaching style is child-centered and developmentally informed. I aim to have practical and classroom-tested learning tools available, I am supportive of diverse learning needs, and make learning clear, structured, and engaging for students with a loving and kind approach. Every resource I create is designed with real children and real classrooms in mind, drawing from years of direct teaching experience, leadership in homeschool education, and a deep understanding of how children learn and grow.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my greatest joys as an educator is teaching children how to read and witnessing those unforgettable “aha!” moments when everything finally clicks. Seeing a student gain confidence as they unlock reading is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I am especially passionate about working with reluctant learners. Over time, I have seen students who once struggled or felt discouraged begin to grow, gain confidence, and develop a genuine love for learning. Helping children move from frustration to excitement is a moment that never loses its meaning for me. While awards are meaningful, these daily moments—watching confidence build, curiosity spark, and students realize their own potential—are the true highlights of my teaching journey.

My own education history

I am an educator with over 10 years of experience teaching and supporting children across early childhood and elementary grade levels. My background includes extensive homeschooling experience, preschool classroom teaching, and leadership in homeschool education. I hold a degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Development, which informs my understanding of how children learn, grow, and develop at each stage. I have taught children in preschool and early elementary settings, building strong foundations in early literacy, social-emotional development, and hands-on learning. In addition to direct teaching, I am the Co-Director and Owner of Freedom Ministries, a growing network of Christian homeschool educational centers and co-ops. Through this role, I support families and educators, develop curriculum, and create instructional resources that are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and classroom-tested. My experience allows me to design learning materials that meet children where they are, support diverse learning needs, and help students grow in both confidence and academic skill.
