Students will plan for a vacation while practicing linear equations. They will look into flights, accommodation, activities, restaurants, and transportation. Students will write linear equations, create a table and graph. It also provides 2 saving up scenarios and one system of equations using graphing.
Students will create a drawing in quadrant one and preform all transformations. Translation, Reflection, Rotation and Dilation. There is also an option for students to just preform Rigid transformations. There is a total of 2 pages. One with directions and the other one were students can record their coordinate points. My students enjoyed getting creative while still learning.
This worksheet is for students to review complementary, supplementary, vertical and adjacent angles with expressions. When they complete all 8 questions they may math their answer to color the pie for Pi day. It may be used without the color sheet. Answers are provided. Hope your students enjoy it. Don't forget to leave feedback.
This was made to help students practice 2-step equations. They may color match their answer with a St. Patrick's color sheet. It may also be used without the color sheet. Others you may like Variables on both sides class activity Dia de los Muertos Multiple step equations
This is an interactive activity that will allow students to get up from their seats and collaborate. Students will create their own binomial for this activity. They will then pair up with a classmate to multiply their binomials together. Once done they will find a new partner and repeat. I allow my students to move when they are down with one partner but you may allow 1-2 min for them to multiply binomials and then inform them when to find their new partner. If both partners have the answer th
No Prep required. Each student will create their own monomial. A monomial is an algebraic expression with a single term but can have multiple variables and a higher degree too. They will then pair up with someone and multiply their monomial with their partners. Repeat until you have worked with everyone in class. This activity is meant for students to get out of their seats and collaborate.
Students will research and plan a trip. They are given a budget they can't exceed. Seven page PDF that has students researching flights, hotels, activities etc. They must then create a linear equation to find out how long it will take them to save up for the trip.
No prep Students will practice solving equations with variables on both sides while they collaborate. For this activity students will move around the room and work with multiple partners. My students really enjoy this activity I hope yours will too.
Decorate your room for dia de los muertos with this banners. It included 8 - variables on one side and 8-variables on both sides. I had my students write in the back names of those they have lost. It is a great way to review and allow students to share more about themselves.
Students are to work in pairs. The problems in partner A and partner B worksheet are different but the answers should match to help them check their answers.
