Teaching style
Hands on with a lot of visuals! My kiddos love memes, color, and seeing faces and artworks with names. They enjoy having breaks during their class time to have a dance break or brain break to help them stay focused during our 45 minute class times. I find that if you have kids write down vocab words from your lessons, add them to the word wall so they can see them again and a again. The early finishers also really enjoy doing crossword puzzles, so I try and give them month specific ones, art vocab, or artists/art movements that we have learned about.
