This resource follows the scope and sequence of the 3rd grade 95 Phonics Core Program (beginning with lesson 6). It can be used alongside the curriculum and encourages constant exposure of morphology and it serves as an aide for students when working with words. It’s intended to be used as an interactive morphology wall, meaning as you study the affixes and roots, you add the flashcard to the wall. Sound spelling mapping paper 1. Say and finger stretch the word 2. Count how many sounds you hear and place a dot in the lower right hand corner to represent each sound 3. Say each sound and write the letter accordingly (remember, one sound per box!) 4. Write the word the line **Print on colored paper to spice it up a little bit! :)
