Dias de los meurtos is a wonderful cultural tradition in Mexico that occurs around the time of Halloween. This cross cultural activity allows you to both celebrate Mexican tradition while teaching the French language in a fun way. The mask is meant to be cut an worn. The activity doubles as a useable item for trick or treating. Task: Have students fill in numbered spaces of the mask that correspond to French colours. (ex. #6 corresponds to the colour rouge)

Teaching style

I believe in meeting students where they are at. I also believe learning should push students in ways that their minds have yet to encounter. That frustration and overcoming of hurdles is the mind growing.
