Awards & shining teacher moments

The 2015-2016 school year will be my fourth year teaching here at Meadow View Elementary. In previous years, I taught second grade, but I have now been challenged to conquer kindergarten. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! This past year, I had the privilege of receiving two separate awards from the Onslow County School System. First, I was awarded the School Level Global Teacher of the Year Award. Then, I was awarded the Teacher Leadership Council's Excellence in Education Award.

My own education history

In 2012, I graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a concentration in Mathematics. Go Pirates! Often, people ask me why I chose teaching as my career and my response has never changed. I feel privileged to shape little minds and globally prepare them for the 21st century. I GRADUSTED IN 2019 WITH MY MASTERS DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION. FAST FORWARD TO 2020, I AM NOW CERTIFIED TO TEACH ESL ALONG WITH MY EC BABIES.
