This sildeshow covers the Aztec, Maya, and Inca civilizations. It includes printable fill in notes for students and a post note activity for each civilization. It also has multiple videos embedded into it to break up the note taking. This was designed to be ELL (English Language Learner) friendly with simple context focused langauge used throughout. I had great success with this in my 6th grade ELL social studies classes. I hope you find it jsut as useful in your own classes!

This is a pre-reading vocabulary activity for the greek myth about Prometheus and Zeus. I used it with my 6th grade level 3 ELLs (English Language Learners) as an opening activity. Each student was assigned one word to work with. This could easily be adapted to be done: individually, in pairs, or small groups instead.
