Ready to use! This color by part of speech worksheet is a great option for morning work or early finisher work. This grammar activity covers: pronouns, adverbs, adjectives, verbs, and nouns. Due to the grid design, students will need to color in the entire grid to see the picture. If your students like this they may also like the Fall - color by part of speech set in my shop too. Enjoy!

This resource is a student facing worksheet that helps students work through a Khan Academy video about determining theme. I used it as a whole class assignemnt but it would also work as an independent or asyncronous assignment. The studnets I used this with were 6th grade, level 3 English Language Learners, so it is ELL friendly.

I used these slides to teach my students what sketch notes are and how to create their own. We have used it during ELA, Reading and Social Studies classes and have had success in all three with these introduction slides. I hope they work well for your students as well!
