This slideshow is a complete pre-reading guide for How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It includes a meet the author section and vocabulary work using context clues. There are student worksheets embedded right into the slides as well! These slides took my 6th grade level 3 EL students three 47 minute blocks to complete.

About: In this set you find 15 different BINGO cards created from a list of halloween themed words. All of the words used on the cards are included on cards at the end of this set.  How to Use: Option 1:This can be used as a traditional BINGO set with the person running it pulling out the word cards at random and calling out the words.  Option 2: I will be using this as reading practice for my students. To do this I will be putting all of the BINGO words into a halloween bucket and have student
