Use this handout to help your students remember what to do with the remainder in word problems. Either drop, add, share, or use the remainder. Quick easy reference sheet!
Skip count by 1s, 5s, 10s, and 100s for two-digit and three-digit numbers. Good review for students that need extra practice.

Sheet 1- 2-digit skip counting with some challenge problems

Have your incoming 5th graders review their 4th grade math skills with a choice board! One choice board, but options to have your students complete 5, 8, or 10 of 20 activities. All activities ask students to review their 4th grade math skills.
Sort facts and opinions about bats and birds. Facts and opinion sheet provided. Use a piece of construction paper or a colored piece of paper. Fold paper in half and label fact and opinion. There are 8 facts and 7 opinions provided.

Valentine's day fun to fill your heart! Intermediate grades can have some fun with math too!! Sort candy hearts and collect data, create a line plot using data, and practice making fractions and adding fractions with like terms.
Simple fun way to practice writing equations (number sentences) by getting to know your students. They will use their information to write an equation with various operations. Practice order of operations as well. Differentiated with 3 different levels. Could be used for grades 2-8!
Two lessons included! Read all about different types of dinosaurs (one flying reptile) to determine the main idea and key details. Simple way for students to practice finding main idea. Students can then choose a dinosaur to then summarize. Use T-MID to summarize (topic, main idea, and details).
