About the store

Experience

I've worked as a special educator for 8 years, with students of all abilities. I'm currently teaching at a public charter school in an inclusion setting with a focus on math instruction.

Teaching style

I like to teach with a sense of humor and lots of visuals. My first goal is to form relationships with students and then work up to academics and goals.

My own education history

I attended Bridgewater State University for my dual undergrad degree in profound needs and psychology. I am currently attending Fitchburg State University for my master's degree in moderate needs. I plan to be licensed in both settings.

Additional biographical information

I play softball, love to read and am a cat mom to 2 fur babies. I love, love, LOVE going to the beach and being outside. I am passionate about my job which includes creating valuable and meaningful lessons, building relationships with students and establishing connections with my coworkers.
