Experience

Teaching style
I like to have fun with my students, play games, make learning entertaining and fun for them.
Awards & shining teacher moments
In my first year teaching, I had a high passing rate for the state standardized test. At the beginning of this school year, I started with about 100 students in 11th grade Intensive Reading, and I currently have less than 50 students still in the class.
My own education history
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from UCF, and a Bachelor of Arts in English. I did not go to school to be a teacher, but I have taken the opportunity to learn as much as I can.
Additional biographical information
In addition to being a teacher, I coach our school's swim team. I love to read, cross stitch, crochet, embroider, and diamond paint. I love to make gifts and activities for my students. I have three dogs and a cat, and was recently married on Halloween this past year!
