In support of FL.ELA.10.R.2.3 this worksheet will help students understand, identify, explain, make real world connections to rhetorical appeals and their uses. Students will also be tasked with creating their own sentences for each appeal and reflect on why authors use rhetorical appeals.

Supports FL.ELA.10.R.2.3- This product offers students the opportunity to analyze historical speech excerpts to determine the author's purpose for using rhetorical appeals within their writing.

You’ll notice that under each week, there are 2 boxes for scores. This is due to my school splitting the Reading Wonders weekly assessment into two different tests. Questions 1-5 is test one and questions 6-10 is another. Question 11 is scored separately as a writing grade. I have my students color their score on the sheet
