Thinking like an artist! What does it mean?? I think this question can be answered in a million different ways because there are no absolutes to being an artist! Artists are as distinct as our own art and we all have our own ways of doing artist things! This is intended to be a springboard into a dialogue about artistic thinking. I think it's important to give our students the space to consider their own unique way of artistic thinking.
The best apology is changed behavior. I tell my students this all the time. Now I hang it in my room as a visual reminder! Great poster for classroom management. Poster is PDF file drawn at 300 dpi and can be printed at any office supply store or printing service. Best on high quality paper and high quality ink when printing.
Share Time is crucial in a TAB classroom! Share Time creates space for students to have an open dialogue about their work. This poster includes prompts for asking students to reflect on their work during Share Time. This could even be used as an in-progress self reflection or an assessment to be completed when a project is finished.
I designed this for my TAB classroom to encourage students to ask questions, consider different ways of looking and seeing, exploring, experimenting, and thinking creatively!
This poster set is the perfect companion to any TAB/Choice display of artwork. It helps the viewers understand the concepts behind TAB and the benefits of a TAB/Choice classroom.
