About the store
I am an 8th-year elementary educator with experience teaching students in grades K–3 and 5th grade! While I have worked across multiple grade levels, the majority of my teaching experience has been in 3rd grade ELA, where I developed a passion for student engagement, creativity, and relationships! I currently teach 5th Grade ELA in a departmentalized pair, and many of the resources in my store are inspired by the lessons, systems, and activities I use daily in my own classroom. My focus is on creating meaningful, student-centered materials that are practical for teachers, engaging for students, and easy to implement in busy classrooms!

Teaching style

I believe students rise to the level of the expectations we set for them. My classroom is built on the belief that all students are capable of deep thinking, meaningful discussion, and authentic learning when they are supported, challenged, and encouraged along the way! As an ELA teacher, I am passionate about real reading experiences. I want students to move beyond simply completing assignments and experience the excitement, curiosity, and connection that come from being a reader. Through exciting novels, meaningful discussions, and engaging projects, my goal is to help students see reading not just as a task, but as an opportunity to explore new ideas, perspectives, and adventures!

Awards & shining teacher moments

Throughout my career, I have sought opportunities to grow as both a classroom teacher and educational leader. These experiences have allowed me to support fellow educators, mentor new teachers, lead collaborative teams, and continuously refine my instructional practices to better serve students.
