Designed to be a two-day activity. Day one, students read the short story, then complete the "Character Traits" page. Students will use PebbleGo (or another student search engine) to research qualities of a good citizen. They will record what it looks like at home, at school, and in the community. Although this is possible with other search engines, this is directly built into PebbleGo for 3rd grade.

After learning about democracy, monarchy, and dictatorship, students will circle the type of government they would want. Then, students will write an explanation of what makes that government better.
