Within the packet you will find multiple choice, short answer and essay questions. The passages include: -non-fiction -Fiction -Myths -Paired passages (2 passages then short answer questions to follow both) -Total of 4 passages with different types of questions for each passage. This resource compares main idea and theme. It allows the students to read a passage then determine the main idea as well as theme. Comes with 5 reading passages to compare theme and main idea. Excellent side by side comparison.

This product is common core aligned. It suits students best from kindergarden to 3rd grade (which are the grades I used it for.) The students all had to write the long or short vowels with words on the feet of the caterpillar. Those words are differentiated to meet each students needs. Along with practicing the vowel sounds, the students write a story about their caterpillar.
