I am certified in Elementary Education K-6, and Exceptional Education K-12, ESOL K-12 and Reading Endorsed. I am currently a Literacy Coach in Osceola County Florida. I have 25 years of experience, 18 in Florida, 3 in New Mexico, and 4 in DoDEA England, and Guam. I have taught all grades K-6. I love teaching Multi-Age and have taught combinations of K/1, 1/2, 2/3, and 1/2/3. I use the philosophies of The Daily 5, CAFE, and Debbie Diller's Math Workstations as the foundation of my classroom and use few textbooks. 13 Word Work Literacy stations two sets for "Practicing" & "Independent"
This file contains 13 activities that can be used all year long. There is one that is for all students for reading the room or a big book. The other 12 are word word and sight word activities - six are red for "practicing" learners (easier tasks) and six are blue for "independent" learners. These twelve activities utilize magnet letters, letter stamps, an overhead or doc cam and sight word cards (or Dolch powerpoint). Word Family Posters and Word Work Center (vowel: a)
This set of Word Family Posters has word families that all have the vowel "A". It contains more than 50 pdf files. For each word family there are two posters, one with all of the words printed on it and the other with a list of letters to be added to make the words. Each file names the word family and has a photo of one word from the list that represents the word family. Word Families included (2 of each- one with letters only and one with words):
