About the store

Experience

I am in my 12th year of teaching high school. I have taught in 2 different districts in 3 different schools. I enjoy making activities and learning tools to help my students grow and build their math skills!

Teaching style

My teaching style is a mixture between direct instruction and student-centered teaching in that as I do my lessons it is as interactive as possible for the students to learn and try the material for themselves.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was awarded student teacher of the year during my credential program. I graduated with high honors from my bachelor degree and credential program.

My own education history

I graduated high school in the top of my class from a really large high school. After that I decided to move to a smaller college and chose Sonoma State University. I majored in math with an emphasis in secondary education and got my minor in statistics. Then I completed the credential program. I also went on to get my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Additional biographical information

Math has always been one of my favorite subjects and my personal goal is to make it understandable and accessible for everyone.
