In this project, students will explore the climate of a country of your choice. Start by selecting a country they are interested in studying. Next, they will research and record the average temperatures for each month of the year in that country. Using this temperature data, they will calculate the following: the mean, median, mode, and range. Then, students create a histogram to visually represent the distribution of the temperature data, followed by a box plot to summarize the data's spread an

This Order of Operation activity is great to review the concept. There are OR cards to spread around the room at different stations. Students have 25 minutes to solve the equations and find who the patient is. There is a worksheet for students to record their work and answers.
