About the store
I have taught piano for over 20 years and have been teaching middle school music and homeroom for over a decade. I studied music at university, and I have always been part of band. While at university I took chemical engineering courses for fun!
I developed the Grade 6 and Grade 8 lessons for TVO. This is for all teachers across Ontario to use to teach music if they choose to do so. It was an awesome learning experience and a lot of fun!
I am a level 1 Google Certified Teacher as well :) and love to incorporate technology into my teaching practice.
I have my Bachelor of Music, my Bachelor of Education and my Masters of Education in Digital Technologies and a bunch of additional qualifications course from primary to senior level. I guess you could say I enjoy learning!

With many of us working remotely, here is a fun This or That activity to help build community in your classroom. Students can enter in their names on a Google Slide to share their preferences with one another for 20 Questions. They can work in this document collaboratively. Once everyone has answered, spend some time and look over everyone's answers together! Feel free to add some additional questions to truly get to know your students. Enjoy!

Solve Me-Getting To Know Me Math
This is a great beginning of the year math activity for your students to get to know one another. It gives them a chance to share who they are using mathematical expressions. I can be as easy or as difficult as they choose. There is space for 15 equations to be created, and solved on the back.

Back To School Music Bingo
Need a fun back to school bingo activity for primary music? Check this out! It's what I'm going to use for part of my first lesson with my primary music classes. Give each student a copy and be sure to read through it together as a class so that students know what things they will need to find out about their peers. Then have the students go around and find a person that satisfies each criteria. When everyone is done you can share the answers together to learn a little bit about your students. E
