Box Method for Solving Equations
This is a pdf of quick notes and short practice page used with my Math Lab (Algebra 1 Intervention) class to learn a new, and visual, way to solve equations. Most of my students are SPED and they really liked this new technique. Teaching style
I like to use a mix of old-fashioned spiral note-taking and fill-in the blank notes. I like short notes, leaving time for students to practice with collaborative or electronic activities and projects.
