This was such a hit for my classroom this year. My kids loved seeing how much they changed and grew! My parents thought it was a sweet gesture as well. Works best on card-stock.
A great classroom management tactic to keep students accountable. When students make the right choices, they are rewarded with an “Oh yeah” point. If students are making wrong choices, they are given an oh oops” point. These points can be tracked on the board as a visual to the students. At the end of each day, week, or month, if the students have more “Oh yeah” points, they are rewarded with an incentive.
It is so important that we as teachers are aware of what is going on with our kiddos. This tool is a great way for students to express their emotions to their teachers without going up and starting a conversation. Perfect for a classroom mailbox.
