This set of problems is practice for adding and subtracting multi-digit whole numbers. Some problems require students to round to check the reasonableness of their response. This set includes problems in context, gathering information from a chart and higher level thinking problems.

This set focuses on multiplicative comparisons.

This set includes 4 constructed response quizzes on a variety of whole number skills including: adding, subtracting, multiplying, rounding, comparing and writing numbers in expanded and standard form. Students use information from a written prompt and/or chart to solve the problems.

This is a free sample of Day 1 of the addition and subtraction unit.

A collection of multi-step problems. The numbers have been purposefully left blank to allow the instructor to choose the numbers appropriate for the level of the students.
