Dream House Extension Project with Think like a Disciplinarian integration. Students will test their multiplication skills, using length times width to find the area of any given room. Students will also design their dream home proportionally and make architectural decisions throughout the process.

Teaching style
I love having students work in groups, especially Kagan-style! Having them interact with each other is dual-purpose as it engages them and is fun! I also see the importance and value of students focusing and having independent work to show what they know and what they've learned. Students are so creative - tapping into their creative minds inspire me in my teaching and I love being able to see their individuality and different ways of thinking.
