Here's a powerpoint that goes over all the 'must-go-over' points the first day of school! There are breaks in between topics so students can get up and get to know each other. Teaching style

I love having students work in groups, especially Kagan-style! Having them interact with each other is dual-purpose as it engages them and is fun! I also see the importance and value of students focusing and having independent work to show what they know and what they've learned. Students are so creative - tapping into their creative minds inspire me in my teaching and I love being able to see their individuality and different ways of thinking.
