Order your numbers from least to greatest. Write each number in a link of the “Chain.” If you roll a number that you already have, you lose that turn. If you roll a number that you can use, you must use it. You must use a pen to play this game!
Use 3 dice:
The red die is your HUNDREDS value. (2nd grade and up)
The green die is your TENS value. (1st grade)
The white die is your ONES value.
Is it Odd or Even?
Two dice, 12 counters and a recording sheet.
If you roll an odd sum, Player one records it. If the sum is even, Player 2 records it. Winner is the first person to record 7 numbers.

Shapes concentration game. Print on card stock, cut out and can be played one-on-one, groups of 2 or even as a mini assessment between teacher and student!
3 Digit Subtraction with Blocks. One problem (2 per page) where students subtract using the blocks provided on the page to show their understanding os subtracting using base ten manipulatives.
The Game of 11
2- 4 players,
Supplies: 2 dice, 11 chips per person and game boards for each player
Each player needs 11 chips and a game board
How to Play:
Each person places all 11 of their chips ANYWHERE they want on their game board. They can spread them out, or put them all on one space, or any combination in between. They cannot overlap spaces- e.g. covering 7and 8 with one chip is not allowed.
Take turns rolling both dice.
ALL players add the sum of the two dice, and remove ONE chip f
This worksheet is a good assessment that I used for my students.
First part asks students to identify a quadrilateral and then explain what makes a shape a quadrilateral. the second part has students partition shapes into thirds and fourths.
Race to 30
Use 1 die, and a 30 chart. Each player needs a game piece. Take turns rolling the die and moving ahead the number rolled each time, to land EXACTLY on 30. Variation: Use a hundreds chart, roll 2 dice.
Double Digit Addition Assessment. Both non regrouping and regrouping. Students are given various equations, 2 word problems, asked to solve the equation (some ask to use a certain strategy)
