Experience
I have taught 3rd grade for seven years. This year I am a 3/4 combo and while it is a new challenge it has been fun to see how the standard build in the next grade level.
Teaching style
My main focus is student engagement, so my teaching style often changes based on the group of students I have that year. I love to create room transformations and game-based learning to engage students and get them excited about learning. I have found that when students are more engaged, they are more reflective of their own learning.
My own education history
I have a Bachelors of Science in Child & Adolescent Development and a Masters in Educational Technology.
