I have been teaching since 2009. Most of my time has been spent in an inclusion classroom and I'm always looking forward to new challenges.
Everything in my store has been field tested in my own classroom with my own bunch of lively fifth graders.
Morning work made easy!
This powerpoint contains 180+ days worth of morning (or after lunch) journal prompts for elementary students.
Students will write silently, then discuss with each other in small groups. Perfect for writing, speaking, listening, or language formatives! Prompts range from silly to serious. Multiple prompts inspire graphing responses, perfect for math mini-lessons.
In this bingo game, students will independently or with a partner work on multiples and mathematical reasoning. A great extension activity with multiplication! Can be played with partners, in small groups, or as a whole class. 16 different game cards are included!
In this math station, students play with a partner to try to "make 20" using any combination of operations. A game board is included along with directions and extension ideas. Great for building mathematical discourse and can be easily differentiated for lower grades.

Experience
I have been teaching since 2009. Most of my time has been spent in an inclusion classroom and I'm always looking forward to new challenges.

Teaching style
Often times, I'm barefoot and sitting on the floor with my young scholars, fully engaged in our discussions. I believe in hands-on, cooperative, collaborative discussion-based learning.
Awards & shining teacher moments
DEN Star, DENSI (2013 & 2015), MEMTA (2012), and so forth.
