The Mobius Strip is a shape with one side and one edge. This PowerPoint will ignite critical thinking and will engage the upper grade math student. It includes a definition of a Mobius Strip, as well as the history behind it. Various examples are given, and there are slides that demonstrate how to make a Mobius Strip. In addition there is a link to a video that demonstrates various experiments that can be done. This is a fun and exciting activity to do with your students.

Educational Christmas Bingo
This fun Christmas Bingo game is educational because it requires students to read familiar and unfamiliar words. Student must use strategies to read unfamiliar words, and recognize common spelling patterns. The game includes a blank bingo board, pictures, and matching word cards. The students cut and paste the pictures onto their bingo board. Word cards are then chosen one at a time and displayed. Students must read the word and find the picture on their board that matches the word.

Teaching style
I have a strong desire, and remain committed, to actively engage my students and maintain a positive and well-managed classroom. I use many strategies to teach, including whole-brain teaching, and I strive to deliver lessons that accomodate the various learning modalities. I strongly believe in positive reinforcement, and take a proactive approach to management. When teaching, it is my goal to appeal to all different learning styles so that all students can access and understand the information.
