About the store
I have been teaching middle school math (Math 6, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1) for 8 years. I double majored with Special Education, which has been super helpful as a teacher because a lot of my students have had a learning disability in math. Teaching math to my students brings me joy. I love the unique quirkiness of middle schoolers!

My own education history

Additional biographical information

I am Christian who loves to spends time with my family and friends when I am not teaching. I am married to my husband, Kyle, who is a high school math teacher at a public school. We have a beautiful daughter, Adeline, who was born in April 2024. I am currently teaching part time and a stay at home mom the other half of my time. I have an older sister, Rachel, who is a first grade teacher at a private school. We enjoy sister laughing (you know what I mean if you have a sibling) and shopping together! I wanted to become a math teacher because of my high school math teacher, Mrs. Rapp, who made math fun and enjoyable. She was my only math teacher who taught me for 6 years (middle school and high school). It was more than a math class to me. It was building a relationship with my teacher and I hope I accomplish the same with my students.
