Teaching style

I believe students learn best when they understand why learning matters. My teaching style combines structure, engagement, and real-world application to help students see meaningful connections between classroom concepts and everyday life. Whether students are working with ratios, integers, budgeting, financial literacy, life skills, or project-based learning activities, my goal is to make learning accessible, relevant, and engaging. The resources I create are designed to support diverse learners while reducing teacher preparation time and increasing student participation, confidence, and success.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my proudest moments have come from helping students accomplish goals they once believed were beyond their reach. Whether it's a struggling learner mastering a challenging math concept, a student gaining confidence in financial literacy skills, or a classroom successfully completing a real-world project, those moments remind me why meaningful learning matters. I have also had the opportunity to mentor new teachers, lead professional development sessions, and support colleagues in creating inclusive learning environments. Seeing both students and educators grow in confidence continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business, a Master's Degree in Special Education, and Educational Diagnostician Certification. My educational background, combined with years of experience across general education, inclusion, middle school math, and special education settings, allows me to create resources that are both academically meaningful and accessible to a wide range of learners. As both a classroom educator and Educational Diagnostician, I understand the importance of balancing rigor, engagement, differentiation, and real-world application.
