Experience

I’ve been an educator for over 12 years, teaching students with diverse learning needs and supporting teachers through faith-based encouragement. My classroom experience includes special education, middle school math, and student support services. Over the years, I’ve learned that teaching is about more than academics — it’s about connection, purpose, and heart. That’s what inspired me to create resources that uplift and encourage educators to teach with joy, grace, and faith.

Teaching style

My teaching style combines structure, creativity, and compassion. As a math teacher, I enjoy helping students discover patterns, solve problems with confidence, and appreciate the beauty of learning through perseverance. I believe in meeting students where they are, celebrating progress over perfection, and fostering a classroom environment of encouragement and belonging. The same philosophy guides my devotional writing — simple, heartfelt, and focused on providing teachers with peace and perspective amidst the challenges of daily teaching.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my proudest moments have come from watching students achieve what they once thought was impossible — not because of perfect lessons, but because they were believed in. I’ve also had the honor of mentoring new teachers, leading professional development sessions, and helping colleagues integrate faith, self-care, and balance into their teaching journey. Every breakthrough — big or small — is a reminder that this work truly matters.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, a Master’s Degree in Special Education, and Educational Diagnostician Certification. This combination of education and experience allows me to approach teaching with both strategic structure and deep empathy — understanding not only how students learn, but also how teachers can thrive while leading them.

Additional biographical information

I’m the author of The 30-Day Teacher Devotional: Encouragement & Strength for Educators and other upcoming titles, including Devotions for Special Education Teachers and the Teacher Gratitude Journal. Through my brand, Multiply With Grace, I create faith-based devotionals, journals, and tools that inspire educators to teach with peace, purpose, and prayer. When I’m not writing or teaching, I’m spending time with my husband and children, who inspire many of the lessons and reflections behind my work. I believe every classroom can be a place where God’s light shines and teachers can thrive with grace. You can find more of my resources at MultiplyWithGrace.etsy.com.
