About the store
As a music educator, I hold experience in elementary, middle, and high school settings in both classroom and school-wide teaching and leadership roles. After five years of teaching PreK-5 general music, choir, and 5th grade band, I made the switch over to middle school band and am loving every minute! In addition to my experience teaching music and band, I also hold a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership and Administration and serve in roles such as Teacher Ambassador, Principal Designee, and Webmaster. I have experience in woodwind instruction and full-ensemble directing and conducting experience with various ensemble settings. I am involved in professional music organizations like TMEA, ETSBOA, Delta Omicron International Music Fraternity, and the Tennessee Wind Symphony.

Teaching style

I believe in an inclusive and diverse music curriculum in which I draw inspiration from John Feierabend, Orff Schulwerk, Gordon, Kodály, and more! I am dedicated to student success and collaboration and ultimately aim to foster appreciation of music and work diligently with students to build a program that encourages musical and academic excellence!
